Fragments from Chris Marker's photo novel La Jetée (1962) give rise to a newly situated contemplation of time in the form of an essayistic experimental film. The dramaturgical structure is interpreted in an abstract, elliptical manner and reassembled associatively. The work highlights aspects of the film's perception of time, which is divided into different levels, and presents them graphically on the digital editing table.
